PARTIAL BUS BUILD – OUT

At Ample we aim to assist in any & all parts of a conversion. For a couple based out of NH we did a 3/4 build and installed their off grid solar system, an Espar diesel heater, designed & constructed their bed platform along with upper & lower cabinets paired with a butcher-block countertop and a beautiful wood ceiling!

The couple were eager to add their personal touches and complete the rest of the build, & hit the road!

2017 MERCEDES SPRINTER

This 2017 Mercedes Sprinter 2500 4x4 came to us with a conversion done back in 2017 by a different carpentry company. Here we assisted with a leak by removing walls, to find the source of the problem & then re-insulating, re-wiring, and sealing the wall back up. We then redirected the original layout of the bed area to allow for a walk through and multi-purpose environment with a pull-out bed system as well as pull out section to appease the clients wishes of star-gazing while out adventuring. Our client was adamant in the regards to having a zero VOC build  – meaning all elements we used needed to refrain from having any volatile organic compounds.

HOME RENOVATION

Our client purchased the property as a future rental // air b and b stay, with hopes to make it a modern day, nautical themed home. Encouraging our sustainable methods we generated a materials list and pitched our ideas as to what should be removed and brought into the home – ultimately making it more energy efficient and less harmful to the environment.

'99 SUN-LITE TRUCK CAMPER

1999 sun-lite eagle // northport, ME
Sean reached out to us due to his new camper purchase lacking mounts or tie down system. We were able to source the correct mounts and hardware, making the camper much more secure. We retro-fitted the Sun-Lite with 120 volt shore power to run interior and exterior outlets. Our recommendation for solar was the Goal Zero Yeti 500x to run while they were on or off the grid. The camper received a full re-seal and roof treatment to ensure a leak free future. On the interior we laid waterproof flooring and re-routed the unfinished water tank fill nozzles. Beneath the camper we designed and built a custom storage unit to house other items. The drawer system also doubles as a structure for the base of the camper.

RV CONVERSION

1995 coachmen catalina // portsmouth, NH

The RV came to us with a serious de-lamination issue as the fiberglass had become porous and the walls had serious water ingress in certain areas. Many hours were needed to get the structure sound and dry again before atheistically pleasing elements could begin to be added. Walls were rebuilt using a sustainable building method, bodywork was repainted, roof was resealed, and a client was very pleased! This conversion makes for a spacious, comfortable and convenient mobile home for a family on the move.
